New experience

A Christmas tree cutting permit for Kaibab National Forest, managed by the USDA Forest Service. A district map among the images places the forest in northern Arizona in three separate blocks: the North Kaibab District reaching north toward Fredonia along Highway 67, the Tusayan District south of Grand Canyon National Park, and the Williams District spanning Interstate 40 between Williams and Flagstaff. The other images show the forest under snow: pine and fir crowns carrying heavy snow loads against a clear winter sky, and a close view of long pine needles coated in frost.
